My Story: My 12-year-old son Michael Richardson was struck by a truck and left brain dead. I decided within five minutes to donate his organs. His heart, liver, kidneys, and corneas were donated. Donating his organs was the best decision I have ever made. Knowing he helped six people helped me deal with my grief.
