My story: I am alive today thanks to the wonderful efforts of the University of Washington and the UNOS organization. I was confined to the hospital for over three months prior to my operation. I feel better at this time since I was sixteen years of age. Organ transplant programs work.
My message to the world: My message to the world: Say yes to organ donation. Let your family know your wishes. Allow health care professionals the continued responsibility of administering organ transplant programs.
