Mission Statement
The Pacific Northwest Transplant Bank (PNTB), based in Portland,
Ore., is the federally designated nonprofit organ procurement organization serving
Oregon, southwest Washington and western Idaho. They manage the procurement,
preservation and distribution of donated organs for transplantation. Inherent
in this process, they recognize and support families in their decision regarding
donation. Their commitment is to work collaboratively with all hospitals to
increase the number of organs available for transplantation.
