Mission Statement :
The Sharing Network is a federally certified, state-approved organ procurement organization responsible for recovering organs and tissue for New Jersey residents currently awaiting transplants. Since its creation in 1987, The Sharing Network has given hope, restored physical function, and saved lives. As a result, thousands of people have received a second chance at life.
Our goal is to increase the number of potential organ donors by creating public awareness about the lifesaving benefits of transplantation. This is accomplished through the distribution of donor cards, and an ongoing program that utilizes educational tools and the media. We also work in cooperation with other agencies, such as the Lions Eye Bank of New Jersey, Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation, and CryoLife.
