The organization and its mission:
The Donor Alliance, Inc., is a 501c(3) organization designated through the Department of Health and Human Services /HCFA. The tissue bank is accredited by the AATB, and regulated by the FDA. In cooperation with others, Donor Alliance facilitates the donation of organs and tissue for those in need of transplantation.

Unique or creative organ and tissue donation promotion strategies:
Transplant education through the health education center at the Denver Museum of Natural History includes classes in schools across the state free of charge by the museum health educator and on interactive display at the museum. Class attendance is approximately 12,000 per year, and general visitors to exhibit areas. This is accomplished through an annual $25,000 grant.
