FROM CUBA Dr. Hectoe Recio Pardo writes from Havana telling our President (who visited him) that they have a renal transplant who plays in the National Championship at a high level. And what about baseball at the Transplant Games? Cuba would like to join us. (We would be delighted. ED.) He sends us contact names in South American countries. Thanks, much appreciated.

FROM INDIA We were pleased to hear from Dr. H.L. Trivedy from Ahmedabad who is the President of the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation. They would like to host the Games and we are, of course, very pleased by the interest and are negotiating possibilities. We look forward to a strong representation of this g reat country in Australia. Dr. Trivedy stresses the great need by numerous Indian patients for the precious gift of a life-saving organ.

FROM MAURITIUS We hear from Mr. J. Ramlochun, secretary of the Mauritius Kidney Association. They enjoyed seeing the 10th World Games on TV. They have brilliantly managed to get a Haemodialysis Centre out of their government. Well done. At their request our address book is on its way to Mauritius.

FROM BULGARIA It was delightful to hear from Ms. Maria Minovska and from Mr. Peter Daskalov, President of the Bulgarian Kidney Transplant Union. They want to join our Federation. We welcome them and will give any help we can to get a Bulgarian team to Sydney.
