| March 20 7:30 p.m. | Preparing for Surgery Peggy Huddleston, author of the book Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster, will explain how to use mind-body techniques to enhance healing as you prepare for and go through surgery. |
| April 24 7:30 p.m. | Open Forum Chapter officers will talk about what's happening in the chapter and give you an opportunity to ask questions. This meeting will also provide plenty of time for members to talk about what's on their minds and to get acquainted with other members. |
| May 22 7:30 p.m. | Psychological Effects of Transplantation Owen Surman, M.D., psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital, will discuss the psychological impact of transplantation on patients and families. |
| June 26 7:30 p.m. | Heart Transplantation Gilbert H. Mudge, Jr., M.D., cardiologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital, will talk about the heart transplant process, from evaluation through surgery and on to recovery. |
