consumers and physicians to ensure that deaths are reported to OPO's whenever donation may be possible, and 3) Learning more about what works to bring about donation (includes a conference next spring).  For more info, see the press release and the fact sheet. TransWeb is pleased to be among these partners; our contribution is The Transplant Journey.

The Transplant Journey takes you on a trip through the transplant process, from the first signs of illness through living with a transplant. During the first year of this project (which was funded by an educational grant from the federal Division of Transplantation), we created an introductory path through the transplant process as well as a detailed path about having a kidney transplant. With colorful illustrations, audio, animations, and a complete glossary, The Transplant Journey is an effective new educational tool.

Also today, a new federal web site about donation, at www.organdonor.gov, was launched in conjunction with the initiative.
