Pantelis' Story: My name is Pantelis Ioannou from Cyprus. I am a transplant recipient since my operation in 1988. I am on the Cypriot transplant team and my event is in swimming. We will go to the World Transpant Games in Australia. I am 32 years old and I live in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. Since my transpant I have an active life. I am a chartered marketer (UK) and MBA graduate of Dundee University. Now I am working in an airline company. I like swimming and fishing. I also passed my exams in scuba diving.

My Message to the World: To be a transplant recipient means that you can do anything you like. That's why we have to encourage all people to donate organs because it's a gift of life.
