| After the Opening Ceremony, a large reception/party was
held at the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Games athletes, supporters, officials,
and dignitaries gathered to socialize and celebrate the start of the Games.
There were exhibits, displays honoring organ donors, light refreshments,
an open bar, and a live band that played a large variety of music for dancing.
Recipient athletes, donor families, supporters (friends and family members),
games organizers, and others socialized, danced, and traded pins from 2:00
in the afternoon until the event closed at 7pm. |
