You will probably take a shower with disinfecting soap and if you are on dialysis, you may have to have dialysis beforehand.

You will also change into a hospital gown, be weighed, and have an IV set up to keep you from getting dehydrated. (Remember, you still won't be able to eat or drink anything.)
