Your kidneys
The kidneys are a pair of reddish-brown organs located on either side of your spine just below your diaphragm, behind the liver and stomach.

If you stand with your hands at the bottom of your ribcage, your thumbs rest just about where your kidneys are. Each kidney is about the size of your fist and is shaped like a kidney bean.
