HIV(human immunodeficiency virus)
 

a virus (a group of tiny organisms capable of growing and copying themselves while living within cells of the body) that enters and destroys cells in the immune system, which makes it difficult for the body to fight off toxins, or poisons, and diseases. HIV is the virus that causes AIDS.
