OLYMPIC PARK AREA

Sydney International Athletic Centre
The International Athletic Centre at Homebush Bay is the site for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and the World Transplant Games. The track and field events will be held here. The large capacity grandstand and state-of-the-art running track are world class. The closing ceremony will also be held at the centre at the completion of the track and field events.

Sydney International Aquatic Centre
This swimming pool was described by luan Antonio Samaranch (President, International Olympic Committee) as "The best pool in the world." The centre was built to Olympic standard for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, with 4,400 spectator seats, unobstructed views, electronic timing, air conditioning, training and warm up pool for relaxation. This will be the first time the pool will be used for an international competition.

The State Sports Centre
Also located at Homebush Bay Olympic Site, the centre will be used for table tennis, volleyball and badminton. This is a superb venue with magnificent facilities in readiness for the World Transplant Games.

PARRAMATTA AREA
 Parramatta Central Business District
The Parramatta CBD will attract large crowds of interested spectators for the Skm Road Race and the Cycling. Both events are to be held in the centre of the city.

Pennant Hills Golf Club - Beecroft
This is an elite golf course, a beautiful 18 hole par 72 course with renowned Australian landscaping.

Rosehill Bowling Club (Lawn Bowls)
The club is situated next to Rosehill Racecourse, Parramatta River, and Parramatta Travelodge. Just ten minutes from Olympic Park, the rose gardens and superb greens are really beautiful.

Coolibah Squash Centre
Coolibah is regarded as the best squash centre in Sydney, with 9 courts, spectator facilities and modern amenities. Just ten minutes from Parramatta and 20 minutes from Olympic Park.

AMF Superbowl- Top Ryde
A most professionally managed ten pin bowling center with 22 lanes, which is only 10 minutes from Olympic Park and minutes from Parramatta and 20 minutes from Olympic Park.
