We are in the process of formalizing our privacy policy, which follows.
To learn the sources of our traffic and the numbers of visitors on any given day, our web site usage log recognizes and collects the domain name (for example, ucla.edu or abc.com) of a visitor's server. We do not automatically collect the full e-mail address of visitors to TransWeb. The only way we obtain your name or e-mail address is when you provide that information on a survey or feedback form, on a question submitted to Ask TransWeb, or when you subscribe to the "What's New on TransWeb?" email list. TransWeb staff will use these addresses only to respond to your email inquiry or to distribute "What's New on TransWeb?."
TransWeb does not sell, trade, or rent personal information about its visitors.
To remove your name from the "What's New on TransWeb?" email list, please send us an email (transweb@umich.edu) with the name and email address under which you subscribed, along with a statement saying that you no longer want to receive "What's New on TransWeb?".
